Competitions
List of Competitions
The Competitions menu provides access to competition management: - Mine: this is the list of competitions created by me (as an organizer).
- Friends:: this is the list of competitions organized by friends.
- Public: this is the list of competitions that other users have made visible by setting the status to 'public'
They can be used for example to:
- Hold together multiple tournaments simulating a group tournament (Gir. A, Gir. B, ..., Gir. Z)
- Manage multiple phases that first include a round-robin championship and at the end a play-off tournament between the first qualified teams
- In the case of a high number of registered teams, it is better to manage two round-robin championships with fewer teams and then the final tournament with the first winning teams.
- ONGOING competitions: competitions in the 'Current' status assigned by the organizer
- ENDED competitions: competitions in the 'Finished' status assigned by the organizer.
- OTHERS Competitions: all other competitions not included in the two previous ones where the status can be 'Other', 'Registrations open' or 'Suspended'
The teams of the competition can be easily imported into the various championships and tournaments included using the add team 'In Competition' button
present in the teams panel of a championship or tournament) without giving up the flexibility of being able to insert others or modify them independently of the competition.
The list displays some main information about the competition and the organizer and the list of championships and tournaments included
Only the organizer user who created the competition can modify it while friends can only view it (if the organizer has set the status 'visible to friends' or 'public').
All the championships and tournaments included also have their own visibility independent from that of the competition, therefore if the competition is public but a championship is private, the latter will not be seen in the list even if the competition is public.
To modify the main data of a competition click on the icon
To view the participating teams click on the icon 
To delete a competition click on the Delete icon
present in the context menu of each competition (located at the top right)

Create a new competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me' there is the button (bottom right) to add a new competition. When opening the page you need to enter the name of the competition (e.g. 2024 5-a-side football competition) and a description (optional) that usually contains a few more details. Procedure: - Enter a name, at least 3 characters long: (e.g. 2024 5-a-side football competition)
- Enter a description (optional)
- Enter the status between 'Registrations open', 'in progress', ... (optional)
- Enter the visibility between 'private', 'only friends', 'public' (by default it is private)
- Click on SAVE .
Note: The newly created competition will be visible in the 'OTHERS' tab of MINE Competitions (unless you change the status to 'in progress', or 'ended').
Edit a competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', there is a button (for each of them) to edit a competition. When opening the page, it is possible to change the name of the competition (at least 3 characters long), the description (optional), the status (between 'Registrations open', 'in progress', ...), the visibility (between 'private', 'friends only', 'public'). Clicking on SAVE will reopen the list of updated competitions.
Delete a competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', there is the button (for each of them) that once clicked will show the button for deleting a competition. Clicking on
will delete the competition. NOTE: the elimination of the competition DOES NOT DELETE the championships and tournaments included which will instead be deleted individually (before or after the elimination of the competition).
Add a new championship to the competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', for each competition, through the icon a bar of icons opens from which to choose the icon to create and add a new championship to the existing competition. In the Add Championship window, enter a name (required) and a description (optional) and click SAVE.
The competition field is read-only and indicates the starting competition in which the championship you are saving will be inserted.
Once the saving is complete, the championship editing page will open which will be included in the starting competition.
NOTE on visibility: the championship also has its own visibility independent of the visibility of the competition, so make sure to change it to make it visible to friends or the public.
Include a championship in the competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', for each competition, through the icon a bar of icons opens from which to choose the icon to open the list of your championships from which to select one. In the Search Championship window, click the
button to add it to the competition. If the
button is visible, it means that it is already included in the competition. 
NOTE on visibility: the championship also has its own visibility independent of the competition visibility, so be sure to change it to make it visible to friends or the public.
Add a new tournament to the competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', for each competition, through the icon a bar of icons opens from which to choose the icon to create and add a new tournament to the existing competition. In the Add Tournament window, enter a name (required) and a description (optional) and click SAVE.
The competition field is read-only and indicates the starting competition in which the tournament you are saving will be inserted.
Once the saving is complete, the tournament editing page will open, which will be included in the starting competition.
NOTE on visibility: the tournament also has its own visibility independent of the visibility of the competition, so be sure to change it to make it visible to friends or the public.
Include a tournament in the competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', for each competition, through the icon a bar of icons opens from which to choose the icon to open the list of your tournaments from which to select one. In the Search Tournament window, click the
button to add it to the competition. If the
button is visible, it means that it is already included in the competition. 
NOTE about visibility: the tournament also has its own visibility independent of the competition visibility, so be sure to change it to make it visible to friends or the public.
Teams list of a competition
In the list of 'competitions organized by me', for each competition, there is the icon to view or edit (for the organizer) the list of participating teams.

Add single team to competition
In the list of teams of a competition there is the icon that opens a page for entering the name and choosing the logo () 
Procedure:
- Choose the team logo from a gallery (shared gallery, personal team gallery or personal image gallery) that will also import the name
- Indicate a team name at least 1 character that is not already present in the list
- Click SAVE.
Note: When you change the name of a team in the team list, it is not updated in all the championships and tournaments included!

Edit single team of the competition
To edit a team click on the list item or on the icon (only for the organizer), to open the page to edit the name and to choose the logo. 
Procedure:
- Choose the team logo from a gallery (shared gallery, personal team gallery or personal image gallery) that will also import the name
- Specify a name of at least 1 character that is not already in the list
- Click on SAVE.
Note: When you change the name of a team in the team list it is not updated in all the championships and tournaments included!

Add multiple teams from shared gallery
In the list of teams of a competition, at the bottom right, by clicking on the icon and choosing the icon the list of shared teams of the app gallery will be displayed, in which you can select multiple to insert in the competition team list. 
Procedure:
- Select teams from the list.
- Click on the Add icon .
Add multiple teams from personal team gallery
In the list of teams of a competition, at the bottom right, by clicking on the icon and choosing the icon the list of teams present in your personal team gallery will be displayed, in which you can select multiple to insert in the competition team list. 
Procedure:
- Select teams from the list.
- Click on the Add icon .
Add multiple teams from personal image gallery
In the list of teams of a competition, at the bottom right, by clicking on the icon and choosing the icon the list of images in your personal image gallery will be displayed, from which you can select multiple to insert in the list of competition teams. 
Procedure:
- Select teams from the list.
- Click on the Add icon .
